Blessed, Beautiful Event

The Marriage of Marion Roy and Paul Kennedy

Saturday, September 30th in this sesquicentennial year my younger cousin Marion Roy affirmed her marriage to Paul Kennedy in a very special gathering at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club in Hamilton, Ontario.  The ceremony was conducted outdoors in beautiful weather.  The wedding dinner dance that followed was lovely.  A blessed event.  Here are photos I took, with a bit of captioning. Sequencing a bit askew, but I hope an enjoyable sharing.

Marion was led in to the marriage by Andrew Coe, her nephew.

Above, remembrance of those who have gone before. A very touching detail.

The sun caught the beadwork on Aunt Janet's dress very beautifully in this photo.
(Enhanced a bit in photoshop).

The following are photos of Marion's sister Alison singing.  I also tried recording a video of her song, but pressed the wrong button and ended up with the briefest of videos (2 seconds), but included here because she is singing the word "Love" from the setting of Robbie Burn's My Love is Like a Red Red Rose.  Lovely to have you share this, Alison.

Photos displayed of previous weddings, including the wonderful marriage of Marion's parents, where sister Anne was the flower girl.

Thank you so much Marion and Paul for the invitation to this wonderful gathering and event.  God's blessings on your years ahead.
